Community Through My Senses

In the story, Elijah, a boy with visual impairment, shares his firsthand experience of his culture. He taps into his senses of touch, smell, taste, and hearing to vividly portray Ugandan traditions to the audience. Despite his disability, Elijah fully immerses himself in the richness of his surroundings, and he encourages individuals with disabilities to focus on their abilities rather than limitations.
