Wrong Path
Wrong Path
Child sexual abuse is a type of abuse in which an adult takes advantage of a child or engages in sexual activity with them without their consent. This can include touching the child's private parts or breasts, showing the child their own private parts, having sex with the child, or using the child for prostitution. Often, adults or teenagers will use gifts, money, or threats to lure children into sexual abuse. Children are often afraid to report this abuse because the abuser may threaten to harm them or their loved ones. However, it is important for children to speak up if they are being sexually abused. Children should not accept gifts, money, or rides from strangers or from people who are not taking care of them. If they suspect that an adult is forcing them to do something or engaging in inappropriate behavior with their private parts, they should report it to their parents, guardians, teachers, or the police. In the story, Akot meets a man who promises to give her anything she wants, but she soon learns that this encounter is not the right path for her.
