The tale follows Crested Crane, a gorgeous bird who lives in a small village alongside other animals. She had a kind heart, always sharing her food with others, and her beauty fascinated the other animals, who attempted to uncover how she become so beautiful. The story promotes the idea that inner beauty surpasses physical appearance and serves as a tribute to Uganda's flag and the Crested Crane featured on it.
