Monica the Sports Girl
Monica the Sports Girl
Despite sports being a crucial socio-cultural learning experience for individuals of all genders and ages, girls and women have often been denied certain sports activities that are considered to be only suitable for men. It is important that girls are given the same opportunities to participate in sports as boys so that they can develop their skills and benefit from the experiences that sports offer.
In this book, the readers follow Monica and her experiences with the belief that boys are better than girls in sports. She is disappointed that others hold this belief despite her school organizing a volleyball competition with a neighboring school.
